Daylight Savings Time and the iBox BT

SilverAlarmClockThe iBox BT can be programmed to allow 24-hour access or timed access for specific hours. Access hours are set from the factory at 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Standard Time. Because our area observes Daylight Saving Time (DST) the actual access hours during DST are one hour later than that set on the iBox!

For example, if the iBox is programmed for access from 8:00 am to 9:00 p.m. Standard Time, the actual access hours are 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time.

If you are scheduling appointments for people to see your listings prior to 9:00 a.m. DST remember you must change the timed access on your lockboxes.

If you have not changed the timed access on your lockboxes they will not open before 9:00 am during daylight savings time!

Using an ActiveKey you can set a lockbox to 24 hour access or timed access. Click here for ActiveKey instructions.

Using an eKey you can set specific lockbox access times for weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Supra Key Card System Information

The Supra key card system is a secure lock system for properties.

iBoxBTThe Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS® uses the Supra iBox BT. The smart and rugged iBox™ BT provides excellent service to homesellers. The KeyBox stores activity data every time it is opened and agents can track activity at the home with real-time information. iBox™ BT can only be opened by authorized users. Its steel shackle and solid construction protect listing keys from unauthorized users.

eKey App ImageThe eKEY™ application uses your phone's wireless communications so you can do business anywhere. Choose from many different Android™, BlackBerry®, and iPhone® smartphones.

Two service levels are available: eKEY Basic for common keybox functions, and eKEY Professional which adds business tools such as MLS data stored on your phone. Certain phones (primarily Apple products) require a small adapter or fob to communicate with the standard iBox BT.

The Supra ActiveKEY™ is designed to be active and ready to open lockboxes when you go to use it.

The ActiveKEY updates itself automatically and sends information about showings to the Supra network using its cellular radio. Showing notices are also delivered to the ActiveKEY over cellular networks or to an optional email address so a listing agent can know right away when a property has been shown.
