Serving as a Director on GBRAR is to continue the work of past directors making our industry grow in a positive, professional image, and providing our membership the tools that are necessary to be successful in their career.   I am your incoming Chair of the Professional Development committee and involved in the Leadership Program that YPN sponsored this year.  As an active REALTOR and Broker/Owner, I bring a unique perspective to the board. I believe it is essential to help promote and foster the importance of a REALTOR in a transaction. I care about our REALTORS and seek to be a voice of the members.

 

LEO DESSELLE – PENNANT REAL ESTATE

Graduate from LSU & former National Champion with the LSU Football Tigers in 2003.  Husband of 10 years with 3 beautiful children that attend St. George.  Licensed REALTOR for 12 years, broker/owner of Pennant Real Estate for 5 years with 31 agents.  Recently served 2 years as a director of the GBRAR, sits as Chair of MLS Committee and served 2 prior years.  I would love to continue to serve.

 

ROBYN EUNICE (Holifield) – SUPREME, LLC

I was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area and graduated from ULL in Interpersonal and Public Communications. Our industry is going through major growing pains right now. Technology is advancing and we must too as agents. I want to serve my peers and together, continue to grow and develop as REALTORS. I am currently serving on several committees and assisting with REALTOR functions. I am ready to assume a responsible role on the Board to further us all.

 

MICHELLE GUIDRY – GUIDRY GROUP PROPERTIES

I have been licensed and selling for 11 years and opened my own Brokerage 2 years ago.  I feel serving on the Board of Directors will help me gain a bigger perspective of our association and allow me to serve my fellow members in a great way.   I believe it is a great opportunity to listen to what our members want and to make every effort to help steer the association in that direction.   As fast as our industry is changing, it is important to have a strong Board of Directors that is staying on top of issues and being proactive with any changes necessary for our members to be successful in business.  I would be honored to be a part of that!

 

GINGER MAULDEN – COLDWELL BANKER ONE

I am seeking re-election for the Board of Directors.  I have served on the Ascension Council of Realtors Board for over 10 years, GBRAR BOD for 5 years and on the State BOD for 3 years. I think it is important to have members who serve on all boards to move our organization forward.  As a former GBRAR president, I have remained active and currently serve on several committees at both local and state levels.  I would appreciate your continued support and vote for GBRAR Board of Directors.

 

LARRY MILLER – KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY RED STICK PARTNERS

Sixteen-year sales career in the GBRAR dedicated to development and education of Realtors through serving as a Director on the local Board Association, Professional Standards, Risk Management and MLS Committees. Along the way serving as an educator and leader in various capacities as a salesperson and Broker. Serving as a Director will allow me to give more back to our local board and other colleagues in the real estate industry.

I firmly believe in furthering the education of all members, Professionalism and ethics when dealing with other agents and our clients will make the smoothest transaction possible so that all can have the best experience.  I am currently serving on the CID Board as President and will be the Trends Chair for 2020.  My personal mission as a Board member will be to assist our membership in moving toward excellence and obtaining great prosperity.

Jonathan Starns, a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge has built an extremely successful career in the real estate and developing industry. He has a reputation of being a tireless worker, strong negotiator and a fearless representative. He’s involved heavily in his faith and enjoys helping others reach their own potential. He spends an abundance of time in community involvement and supporting local events, schools and charitable events. Jonathan is married with two beautiful children. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and coaching his kids. His hobbies are golfing and hunting.

 

SCOTT SAPORITO – COLDWELL BANKER ONE

I am asking for your vote to serve on the GBRAR Board of Directors for a second term.   In this term so far, I have been elected Treasurer, served as a member of the Executive Leadership team and helped develop the YPN Leadership Program.  I have become very aware of what an honor and awesome responsibility it is to serve our membership at the highest levels.  I understand the time and effort it takes to serve in volunteer leadership positions effectively and I am prepared to continue my service with your approval.   I would appreciate your vote for the GBRAR Board of Directors.

 

KYLE JACKSON – COLDWELL BANKER ONE

I was born in Baton Rouge, attended St. George, Catholic High School and LSU earning a B.A. in International Studies.  I have been a full time REALTOR since February 2012, and I am the Head Tennis Coach at Catholic High.  I married my beautiful wife, Emily, in 2017.  I want to serve on the GBRAR Board of Directors to continue the work done by previous Boards of improving the ways we conduct business, serve our clients and community and advocate homeownership and property rights.

 

LISA LANDERS – RE/MAX PROFESSIONAL

I served as a Director in 2014-2015 and on numerous committees, including Risk Management Chairperson, MLS, Professional Development, Grievance and Professional Standards.   I have been licensed since 2003 and a broker since 2012.  In 2011 I opened Re/Max Professional, currently have 51 agents.  I have been a top producing agent, acting in the business as well as broker/owner of one of the top producing offices in our MLS.  I am fully engaged in the business, with an abundance of experience both as an agent and broker.   I was Broker/Owner of the Year for Re/Max LA in 2012 and 2015.

 

CAROLYN WEBBER – RE/MAX REAL ESTATE GROUP
