Recently, the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®, a Baton Rouge-based trade association representing licensed real estate brokers and agents, certified appraisers, and others in affiliated businesses, recognized members who have given back to the community, gone beyond the call of duty, and exemplified other high principles of the REALTOR® name.
The awards are presented annually, for the recipient’s work in the preceding year. Each award honors a different quality of the REALTOR® brand.
The 2024 recipients were:
- Richard Allen of Guild Mortgage Company, Ben R. Downing Jr. Affiliate of the Year
- Ros Pack of COMPASS, Rising Star of the Year
- LeAnne LePlace Evans of The Landers Team, Most Cooperative REALTOR®
- Yvona Ward of COMPASS, Charles H. Dillemuth Humanitarian of the Year
- Jennifer Hebert, of Pennant Realty, received GBRAR’s highest honor, REALTOR® of the Year.
The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the installation of the 2025 GBRAR Board of Directors, January 16, 2025, at the L’Auberge Casino and Hotel Conference Center in Baton Rouge. Team Leader for Keller Williams Bluebonnet Flint Shea swore in the GBRAR Board of Directors and Executive officers.
The officers installed at the event were:
- Larry Miller of Keller Williams Realty First Choice, 2025 President
- Jennifer Hebert of Pennant Realty, 2025 President-Elect
- Juli Jenkins of Keller Williams Realty First Choice, 2025 First Vice-President
- Debbie Hanna of RE/MAX Select, 2025 Treasurer
Newly elected directors were also installed:
- Yvette Griffin of Pennant Real Estate
- Happi Hoffer of Covington & Associates Real Estate
- Stephanie Pierce of Keller Williams Realty Red Stick
- Tonya Toups of Coldwell Banker ONE
Returning to complete their second of two-year terms were directors:

- Mary Beth Crain of The Market Real Estate Co.
- Leo Desselle of Pennant Realty

The ceremony also recognized those who have earned the REALTOR® Emeritus status by being active members of the National Association of REALTORS® for forty years:
