This calendar year has brought about more devastating natural disasters than we’ve seen in any
single year since the inception of the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF). Tornadoes
devastated numerous towns in Arkansas in March, Wildfires ravaged homes and businesses
across the beautiful island of Maui, and several major storms and hurricanes have pummeled the
coasts over the past two months. These communities and so many others need our help.
Requests for RRF funding have never been higher. Our Board has approved $8.1M in funding
for 24 relief efforts through the first nine months of 2023. For context, 9 efforts totaling $1.6M
and 15 efforts totaling $3.6 million, were funded by RRF in 2021 and 2022 respectively. This
amounts to nearly a 3X increase in relief efforts and a 5X increase in funds granted in two
years! Your contribution is needed more now than ever!
On behalf of RRF, I express our utmost gratitude for Greater Baton Rouge Association of
REALTORS® gift of $5,000 in 2022, which allows us to fulfill our goal of “never saying no to a
family in need.” Since 2001, RRF has provided $42 million to 22,000+ families, so thank you!
The REALTOR® family has a big heart. Our donors have allowed us to give back to our
communities for over two decades. If you can support RRF in 2023, please consider doing so.
The hope we can provide together for those families is a lifeline in times of despair. We’ve raised
nearly $3.5M this year but are seeking elevated donor support to replenish the $8.1M granted.
