This course will cover the safety of yourself and your business. We will review safety procedures for buyers’ agents when showing a property and discuss proper conduct should an emergency occur. Upon completion of this course, the agent will understand situational awareness and how to practice it as a part of their everyday business. We will experiment with different safety gadgets and apps available that can help to create a safer environment for the agents and their clients. We will also demonstrate how vulnerable you may be to attacks and data breaches. You will discover solutions you can put in place today to protect yourself from an inevitable hack or data breach.

This course will give an overview of buyer statistics to help the agent better understand the market. We will cover the Buying Process and ways the agent can improve the experience for both the buyer and themselves. Upon completion of this course, the agent will be able to determine what buyers want and how to get them into the home of their dreams.

This course will fulfill the requirement for the 2021 Agent Mandatory Course Topic “Basics of Investment Property & Property Management” as mandated by the LREC.

Real Estate Ethics and REALTOR® Code of Ethics | 3 hr. Course
This course meets the standards for the 2021 NAR® Code of Ethics Requirement – Cycle Six. This course will review the history of the Code of Ethics as it relates to its origins, its influence on state licensing laws and its establishment of arbitration as the monetary dispute resolution process between REALTORS®. Finally, we will apply the REALTOR® Code of Ethics Articles to everyday real estate practices.

Listing Language | 2 hr. Course
This course will explore the demographics of today’s sellers so that the agent can better understand their clients who may be looking to sell. This course will allow the agent to become familiar with the market and seller attitudes toward the market as a whole. We will also examine the types and contents of a listing agreement and the process in place when listing a property. Upon completion of this course, the agent will understand the value and benefit to the seller that pricing a property can bring.

Let’s Talk Flood | 3 hr. Course
In this course, the student will gain actionable techniques and best practices on how to protect their buyers in purchasing a previously flooded home; as well as, listing and promoting previously flooded homes. This session will explore how flooding and flood insurance plays a role in the value of a property. Additionally, we will discuss the important features of the NFIP policy every agent needs to know.
